LG G Pad 10.1 begins global rollout in U.S.

LG today announced that it has begun to roll out the LG G Pad 10.1 tablet across global markets. It is the largest of three new LG G Pad tablets unveiled back in May.

The LG G Pad 10.1 incorporates a number of features that were first introduced with the LG G3. These include the ability to tap anywhere on the display to focus and activate the shutter while taking pictures, a gesture to trigger selfies, a Smart Keyboard to improve typing accuracy and Dual Window to simultaneously run two applications next to one another.

The LG G Pad 10.1 will first launch in the U.S. It will then make its way to Europe, Asia and Latin America later in the month. Pricing and specific availability details will be announced locally.
