LG jumping into wearables for kids with LG KizON

Rumoured LG kizON logoIt would appear that LG does not believe that wearables should be limited to adults. As we saw a week ago, LG is readying a smart bracelet aimed at children. The user manual (in Korean) for the first such device surfaced last week giving us our first clues as to what LG had in mind. A leaked image of the product’s logo appears to confirm those initial details.

Along with the logo is the device model number, the LG-W105S. It appears to confirm that the device seen in the user manual will indeed launch as the LG kizON.

From the user manual, it appears that the LG kizON will allow parents to know where their children are at all times. It comes with both GPS and Wi-Fi and measures 55.2 by 34.7 by 13.9 millimeters and weigh 40 grams.

There is no word yet on when and where the LG kizON will launch and for how much.
