Motorola this week announced that its Motorola Gallery app has received a facelift. Aside from the lighter design, it boasts a new slideout navigation menu and an improved Camera Roll with larger thumbnails. Motorola has also added a Timeline view that groups photos based on the date they were taken.
The new version, bearing number 1.1.400, is compatible with the Moto G and Moto X as long as they have been upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat. It is also compatible with Verizon’s DROID Maxx, DROID Mini and DROID Ultra, again running Android 4.4.

Like the Motorola Camera app, the company is offering the update through Google Play.
