Nokia announces Nokia Lumia Icon for Verizon Wireless

Nokia Lumia IconDespite dabbling with Android, Nokia is not out of the Windows Phone business. The Finnish company today unveiled its latest Windows Phone smartphone, the Lumia Icon. It will be exclusively available through Verizon Wireless in the U.S.

With a boxier look than we’ve seen from other recent Lumia devices, Nokia once again plays up its video and audio capabilities, highlighting its 20MP PureView camera and four lossless microphones that capture omnidirectional audio in full stereo.

In today’s social world, capturing and sharing video is more important than ever. And no one wants to share a blurry, shaky video with a bunch of background noise. Having the right smartphone to shoot video makes the difference.
