Samsung announces Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7″)

Samsung Galaxy Tab3 LiteFollowing yesterday’s unofficial reveal, Samsung today formally unveiled the Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7″), its newest entry-level tablet. It promises to combine ” the intuitive experience of the Galaxy Tab3 series with a slimmer, more portable design.”

The official announcement does not reveal what dual-core processor is used in the Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7″) but rumours have suggested it is a 1.2GHz dual-core Marvell PXA986.

The Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7″) also comes with the usual Samsung software add-ons, including Samsung Hub and Samsung Voice.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7″) will be offered globally. Samsung did not give precise launch and pricing details today. Rumours suggested that it could sell as low as €100 (about CA$145) but it could end up being slightly higher if Polish retailer’s X-Kom’s prices are used as reference.
