Samsung Canada this week confirmed what a number of retailers had already revealed, namely that the Galaxy Tab S tablets would make their Canadian debut on June 27.
“The Samsung GALAXY Tab S is a truly revolutionary tablet,” said Paul Brannen, Senior VP, Enterprise and Mobile Solutions, Samsung Canada. “We know that Canadians are looking for tablets that will help them Play More, Do More and Share More, which is why we are so proud to introduce the GALAXY Tab S – a device that raises the bar in the industry.”
Samsung also confirmed pricing for the two Wi-Fi tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S (10.5) will sell for CA$519.99 while the Galaxy Tab S (8.4) will go for CA$419.99. A number of accessories, including a Book Cover, a Simple Cover and a Bluetooth Keyboard, will be sold alongside. Canadian retailers that will offer the Galaxy Tab S include Best Buy, Future Shop, Staples and The Source
As in the U.S. where both Galaxy Tab S tablets will also be available on June 27, the Canadian versions will come with a selection of mobile content as part of the Galaxy Gifts bundle. Here is what Canadians can look forward to:
