Canadian retailers have quickly put up pre-order pages for the latest tablets from Samsung. Unveiled last night, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes with a WQXGA WQXGA (2560×1600) Super AMOLED display. Two models were announced: A 10.5-inch model (SM-T800) and an 8.4-inch one (SM-T700).
Canada is getting the version powered by the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor. Both sizes will be available with most retailers offering both the Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White variants. All so far are only offering the 16GB model.
Here are the retailers already taking pre-orders:
- Best Buy: Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in Bronze or White, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 in Bronze or White
- Future Shop: Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in Bronze or White, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 in Bronze or White (with free Galaxy Tab S Folio Case)
- Staples: Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in Bronze or White, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 in Bronze or White (with free Charcoal Black Book Cover case)
- The Source: Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in Bronze, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 in Bronze
Both Samsung Galaxy Tab S models are expected to start shipping on June 27. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 will sell for CA$419.99 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for CA$519.99.
It remains to be seen if the 32GB model will make it to Canada.
