If there was any doubt that Samsung was going to hold its next Unpacked event on September 3,2014, it can now be put to rest. Samsung has now confirmed the date for UNPACKED 2014 Episode 2, asking everyone to “Note the date!” with the exclamation looking more like a pencil than punctuation.
Rumours have suggested that Samsung will also unveil some new accessories at the event. Among them could be the Gear VR headset and perhaps even a new smartwatch or two.
Samsung UNPACKED 2014 Episode 2 will take place simultaneously in three cities on September 3. The Berlin event is billed as the global one with secondary events taking place in Beijing and New York. For anyone unable to be at these events in person, Samsung will once again livestream the event.
The clues on the invitation are a clear indication that Samsung will indeed use the event to unveil the Galaxy Note 4, the latest in its family of phablet devices.
