The Michael Bastian Chronowing was officially unveiled just days ago. Gilt, the online retailer that will exclusively sell the new smartwatch starting on November 7, has now posted a video that gives us a better look at how the upcoming smartwatch works.
The video, narrated by none other than Bastian himself, shows how various notifications are displayed on the watch when they come in. Among the supported alerts will be email messages, social media notifications and updates about sports, stocks and the weather. These will be configurable through an app available for both Android and iOS devices.
While the MB Chronowing lacks a touchscreen and appears to be of significantly lower resolution than most other smartwatches, the promised battery life of up to seven days may well tip the overall balance in its favour.
The MB Chronowing goes on sale exclusively through Gilt on November 7 for US$349. A second variant, limited to only 300 units, the MB Chronowing Limited Edition Black will come with all-black PVD plating, sapphire crystal and an alligator leather strap will sell for US$649.
