Video preview of the Moto 360

Motorola Moto 360Android Wear was a highlight of yesterday’s Google I/O 2014 keynote announcement. Featured were the LG G Watch and the new Samsung Gear Live which went on sale through Google Play late yesterday. One other smartwatch, the Moto 360, was featured but Google disappointed more than one hoping to get their hands on it at the same time as the other two as it will not launch until “later this summer.”

As impressive as both the LG and Samsung Android Wear watches are, there is little question that the most fashionable Android Wear smartwatch is the Moto 360 with its circular display.

Moto 360 sets itself apart with a design that reimagines time for the modern era – a distinctive round display, carefully chosen materials, and fine craftsmanship all while keeping you on track and up to date without taking you out of the moment.

While everyone waits for the Moto 360 to launch, Motorola has posted a short video that gives us a good look at the watch and how Android Wear works.

The new video is likely to only further increase everyone’s anticipation for the Moto 360. It will likely sell for more than the LG G Watch (CA$229) and the Samsung Gear Live (CA$199). Motorola has yet to confirm pricing but we expect it to fall in the US$249 range (about CA$275) although it could go higher with certain materials.
