IWC unveiled the Portofino Monopusher Edition “Tribeca Film Festival 2015″ just over a week ago. The unique watch is being auctioned by Christie’s in honour of the honor of the Tribeca Film Festival. Bidding currently sits at US$40,000 for the unique watch. The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer has now announced a second special edition watch, the Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition “TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL 2015” in honour of the New York film festival.
Unlike the Portofino Monopusher, the Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition will neither sport the push-button mechanism integrated into the crown nor be limited to a single watch. It will nonetheless be limited to only 100 watches to be sold in IWC boutiques within the U.S.

The IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition “Tribeca Film Festival 2015” sports a single bordeaux-coloured subdial to indicate seconds. It retains the slate-coloured dial “embodies the New York City streets.” The see-through back bears the logo of the Tribeca Film Festival and the engraved lettering “One out of 100.”
