When LG announced that its LG Watch Urbane was about to land on the Google Store, it also two new features for its latest smartwatch. One of these, LG Call, has now landed on Google Play.
LG Call allows you to make calls directly from the watch and without having to pull out your smartphone. It also provides an easy way to see your recent calls and favourite contacts.
LG Call is only compatible with the LG Watch Urbane at this time. It remains to be seen if LG will expand compatibility to the LG G Watch and LG G Watch R. At first glance, there is no reason that these could not work with the app and the app’s rating on Google Play is taking a pounding from upset users.
On the smartphone side, it is compatible with handsets running Android 4.3 and higher.
