Samsung kicked off the global rollout of the Rose Gold and Platinum versions of its Gear S2 classic in China last month. The smartwatch landed in the U.S. last week and we now know that it is coming soon to Canada as well. Samsung Canada today announced in a statement that the “the new Gear S2 classic will be available in Rose Gold case with a Brown Genuine Leather band and in Platinum case with a Black Genuine Leather band by Spring 2016.”

Missing from today’s announcement are pricing details. The Samsung Gear S2 classic in Rose Gold or Platinum sells for US$449.99 in the U.S. A simple currency conversion suggests that it could sell for around CA$620 when it lands here. Given that the Samsung Gear S2 sells for CA$399.99 and the Samsung Gear S2 classic sells for CA$449.99 in black with a leather wrist band, a price upwards of CA$500 is not unlikely.
