iAnywhere recently released a completely revamped version of AvantGo. AvantGo 2005 does away with its dependence on Pocket Internet Explorer, adds enhanced wireless synchronization, improved channel management and more.

With RSS now on the scene, I think that AvantGo has lost much of its “must-have” reputation but it remains a useful tool to get daily news. Especially given that it is still free.
