Last week, it looked like Intel might announce its Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) today. Someone at Microsoft must have reminded them that Project Origami is scheduled to be revealed on March 9 and so the unveiling has been pushed back.
The site dedicated to the UMPC is still up and there are a couple of interesting pictures that could shed some light on what we can expect on March 9.
We can expect to see 7-inch screens, full operating systems and about 3 hours of battery life from the first generation UMPCs.
CNET has pictures of two prototypes displayed during the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco.
