What a coincidence! The Xbox 360 turns one and the new Xbox Live Video Marketplace goes live in the US! As reported earlier this month, the new service will offer a variety of full-length TV shows to own and movies to rent (time-limited downloads).
TV shows include CSI (and all its related permutations) and the original Star Trek series. Among the movies, you will find Chinatown, The Untouchables, Batman Forever. Selected Ultimate Fighting Championship fights will also be offered. Prices will start at $2 USD for TV shows in SD and $3 USD in HD per episode. Movie rentals are broken down into “Classics” for $3 USD and $4.50 USD for SD and HD respectively and “New Releases” for $4 USD and $6 USD for SD and HD as well.
