It was powered by a 16Mhz DragonBall processor and came with Palm OS 1.0. The PalmPilots were huge hits, with shipments of 1 million in 18 months. 10 years in the field of electronic gadgets is a long time: Palm has seen its share of triumphs and tribulations in that time.
