A Wi-Fi radio that does not need a computer

Phoenix Wi-Fi IP Radio

The Phoenix Wi-Fi IP Radio lets you tune in to Internet radio stations or listen to podcasts without the need for a computer. It comes with Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) so it can connect to your access point without the dependency on your PC. Developed by the French company Com One, it looks like most other radios with tuner dial, a volume knob, a display (128×64 pixel white backlit in this case), and stereo speakers. It also features 8 presets, an alarm clock, and a search tool to find new stations to listen to. It weighs only 640 grams (23 ounces) and can be run on 4 AA (included) rechargeable batteries.

Unfortunately, the Phoenix Wi-Fi Radio cannot store songs as it only supports streaming.

The Com One Phoenix Radio sells for $249 USD.
