The O2 Xda comet is one step closer to landing in people’s hands (at least in Germany). It is now available for pre-order on the O2 Germany online store.
The Xda comet is the Windows Mobile 6 Professional successor of the Xda Atom life (which did get its own Windows Mobile 6 upgrade). It will be powered by a 624MHz Marvell processor. It will come with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a 2.7-inch QVGA screen, 64MB RAM and 1GB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2, both a 2MP and a VGA camera, an FM tuner and a miniSD slot.
The Xda comet will be available for as little as €149.99 with certain 24 month contracts.
