Apple set to launch iPhone 3G in 29 more countries

Apple is set to embark on the third phase of its worldwide iPhone 3G deployment. According to AppleInsider, the iPhone 3G will launch this week in both Brazil and South Africa.

In this next phase, Apple is expected to announce that carriers in 29 additional countries will offer the iPhone 3G. These include Botswana, Brazil, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Madagascar, Mali, Malta, Mauritius, Nicaragua, Niger, Panama, Russia, Qatar, Senegal, South Africa, Turkey, and Venezuela.

By the end of the year, the Apple iPhone 3G will be available in over seventy countries.
