HP to unveil 10-inch netbook in October?

Hewlett-Packard

DigiTimes sources report that Hewlett-Packard will introduce new 10.1- and 10.2-inch netbooks in October. Unlike the current HP 2133 Mini-Note PCs which uses the VIA C7-M processor, the new models will use Intel Atom processors.

The first model is expected to be a 10.1-inch netbook (with a resolution of 1024×576) with an SSD. In 2009, HP will unveil other models with the option of an SSD or a hard drive. While DigiTimes reports that there will be 10.2-inch models as well, there is no word on when they would be released.

There are no details at this point about operating systems, other specifications and pricing. I wonder if we will also see a refresh of the current 8.9-inch models at the same time.
