There is more evidence that ASUS is getting ready to announce a second generation of its popular Eee PC. French site BlogEEE.net has received new information and it pretty much confirms earlier statements by ASUS.
The new Eee PC 900 will feature a larger 8.9-inch display (likely a resolution of at least 1024×600), a faster processor (speed undisclosed), a standard 1GB of RAM (up from 512MB on most current models) and up to 12GB of SSD storage. The new Eee will be the same size as the current 700 series.
The Eee 900 series should be available this summer.
Unfortunately, all that extra Eee goodness will come with a premium. The price for the Eee 900 will start at 399€ (about USD$600).
