The Boy Genius is reporting that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 is headed to retail channels on October 29th. The stores will have it in stock but the official release date is still a bit of a mystery but cannot be far behind. The Boy Genius Report suggests that there is a lot of speculation that Rogers could do something for Halloween. More likely though is an announcement the week of November 4th.
Also reported is the fact that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 will be available for CAD$49.99 with a three-year service contract (minimum of CAD$35 per month). This would appear to confirm pricing published by Futureshop earlier.
