Shortly after Apple released iOS 5.0.1 yesterday, reports began to surface that battery draining issues remained. Apple today confirmed to AllThingsD that the update does not address all of issues recently identified. A statement acknowledges that:
“The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”
There is no word yet on when the remaining issues will be addressed
