With the launch of the Eee Pad Transformer Prime coming November 9th, ASUS today shed some light on what it is planning for early 2012. CEO Jerry Shen confirmed that ASUS will launch two more tablet PCs in February of 2012 along with the PadFone.
Rumours suggest that one of the tablets coming will be a 7-inch version of the keyboard-dockable Transformer to sell for US$299.
Shen also confirmed that the Transformer Prime will ship with Android 3 (Honeycomb). An upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) will follow in early December. No such upgrade will be required for the Padfone; it will ship with Android 4.0.
