Digitimes is reporting that HTC will supply Verizon (as well as AT&T) with mobile phones powered by Qualcomm’s Brew MP operating system. It provides no details as to what device(s) could be launched but one possibility is the HTC Smart 2 first spotted back in January.
HTC will not be alone as Samsung, LG, and Pantech are also named as potential Brew suppliers for Verizon.
Over a billion Brew MP-powered devices have apparently now been sold across the world.
