ASUS first promised to offer an Android 4.0 upgrade for the original Eee Pad Transformer last October. Now, courtesy of ASUS UK, we have a better sense of when it will be available. According to its Facebook page, the update will come after the January 12th launch of the update for the Transformer Prime:
ICS 4.0 will be coming to existing Eee Pad Transformer TF101. Exact date TBC but we are working on making the FOTA update available a.s.a.p. after Jan 12th launch with Prime TF201.
ASAP is not much a firm timeline but it does suggest that it could be out this month.
