Canada’s Android 4.1 update rollout began early last week with Bell, Rogers and TELUS users getting their upgrades. Samsung Canada today announced that the upgrade will begin rolling out to Mobilicity, Videotron and WIND Mobile users on Friday, December 14th:
GALAXY S III owners! @Mobilicity, @Videotron & @WINDMobile will start receiving Jelly Bean on Fri. with a staggered rollout into next week!

The rollout will be staggered and continue into next week, meaning that it may be a few more days before you receive your update notification. You can also check manually by selecting About phone > System updates > Check Now in the Settings.
It looks like Samsung will make good on its promise to have its Samsung Galaxy S III Jelly Bean updates out before the holidays. As for Note users, it appears that the wait will go on a bit longer.
