Samsung last week announced it would hold a “major” event on August 15th where it would unveil “the newest Galaxy device.” A “source close to Samsung” has now “confirmed” to BGR that the company will announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the oft-rumoured follow-up to the Galaxy Note.
Rumours point to a device the same size as the original note but with slightly larger 5.5-inch display.
Past conjecture had suggested that Samsung might use the event to announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet to North America.
