It would appear that Google has a hit tablet on its hands with the Nexus 7. While the 8GB version is still available online, Google has pulled the 16GB version, now listing as ‘coming soon.’ Finding either in a retail store also appears to be an epic effort with most reporting sell-outs as well. This said, Google has yet to provide actual numbers but has said that it is seeing “incredible demand.”
Google is now stepping up its marketing efforts with the release of its first Nexus 7 ad entitled ‘Camping:’
As for why someone would take a Wi-Fi-only tablet camping, you’ll have to watch the ad…
