Sony LT30 ‘Mint’ details revealed by Bluetooth SIG

The Sony LT30 ‘Mint,’ already the topic of a number of rumours, has surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG’s website. A short description not only confirms some earlier suspicions but also reveals a few more details about the upcoming device.

According to the listing, the LT30 Mint will be part of Sony’s “premium product line” and will feature “an attractive “ARC” design with metal back cover. Specifications include a 4.6-inch HD (1280×720) display, a rear-facing 13MP camera capable of 1080p video capture and front-facing 720p camera. It will measure 68 by 129 by 9 millimeters and weigh 140 grams.

According to leaked UAProf (user agent profile) files, the Sony LT30 Mint will be launched as four variants powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and Google Android 4.0.

The Sony LT30 Mint could also be very similar to the LT29 Hayabusa, itself expected to be the international version of the Sony Xperia GX launched in Japan in May.
