LG G Flex headed to three U.S. carriers?

LG G Flex

The evidence continues to mount that LG will launch the LG G Flex, its first smartphone with a flexible display and a self-healing back cover, in the U.S. in the near future. The usually reliable @evleaks expects that three of the largest U.S. carriers, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, will launch it.

It would appear that Verizon Wireless has decided to pass on the LG G Flex for now.

This latest leak follows confirmation from LG that it was working on a global announcement. An earlier rumour also revealed specific model numbers for a number of carriers and markets, including three U.S. models:

  • LG-D959 for T-Mobile USA
  • LG-LS995 for Sprint
  • LG-D950 for AT&T

There are no details about pricing and specific availability at this point. A launch early next year now appears the likeliest scenario. There is no word yet on a possible launch in Canada.
