Moto X in Eric Schmidt's handsNew pictures of the upcoming Motorola Moto X have shown up. It showed up in Google Chairman’s Eric Schmidt’s hands as he attended a business conference. Italian site Corriere.it caught Schmidt using the device to make calls.

The pictures reveal the Moto X’s profile with tapered sides and a thicker middle. Schmidt’s model is a white model but the front appears to be completely black (much as the white Google Nexus 4). It also features a textured back.

Motorola kicked off its marketing campaign for the Moto X earlier this month. People can also sign up on a registration page to find out more information about it.

At the event, Schmidt said that Google’s relationship with Apple was improving and that the two companies were conducting “lots and lots” of meetings.
