Samsung Galaxy Note III size comparison to Note II

Rumoured Galaxy Note III next to Note IIWhile the Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to come with a larger 5.68-inch display than the Galaxy Note II (with a 5.5-inch display), past rumours have suggested that it would not be significantly larger. A leaked image of the display frames of the two devices has now surfaced online and effectively confirms the claim. It should be pointed out though that the image above is a collage of two separate images so take it with a grain of salt.

The Galaxy Note III appears to be slightly taller and its 2.2 millimeter bezels appear to be much thinner. Width of the device appears to almost if not the same. The Note III has also lost the rounded corners in favour of squarer ones.

Expected key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note III include either a 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 5420 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (depending on market), Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a 5.68 inch Full HD (1920×1080) Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM (perhaps only some models), internal storage options of 32GB or 64GB (a 16GB model appears to have been scrapped), external storage via microSD cards up to 64GB, a 13MP rear camera (without OIS) and a 3,200mAh battery.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note III along with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch in just over a week at its Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 press event.
