Video: Apple’s first gold iPhone 5S ad

Gold Apple iPhone 5S adApple today posted its first gold iPhone 5S ad to YouTube after it aired earlier during a football broadcast on the FOX network in the U.S. Called “Metal Mastered,” it is very similar to Apple’s first iPhone 5C ad which featured flowing plastic. In this ad, the plastic makes way for liquid gold eventually taking shape into an iPhone 5S. The ad also takes time to show off the new fingerprint scanner.

Introducing iPhone 5s. Meticulously considered and precision crafted, it’s the most refined and forward thinking iPhone yet.

The Verge reports that the video appears to be a shortened version of the video that Apple aired at its September press event when it unveiled its latest iPhones.

A little odd is the choice of music for the ad. The song “Ooh La La” by Goldfrapp has been used in other handset ads in the past, including by Motorola for the KRZR.  Is it running out of musical inspiration?
