Belkin this week added a new line of MFi-certified iPhone cables to its portfolio of accessories. The Belkin MIXIT↑ Lightning to USB cables are made with braided metallic threads with aluminium tips and come in gold, silver and gray to match your Apple iPhone 5S.
“Much more than just a device to make calls, iPhones are now a necessity in our daily routine as well an extension of our personal style,” said Melody Tecson, director of product management at Belkin. “Belkin’s new lines of premium metallic cables speak to our love for fun, colourful accessories and our responsibility to provide safe, responsible charging solutions.”
The MIXIT↑ Lightning to USB cables come in both 4′ and 6′ lengths and are MFI-certified (which means that they meet Apple’s standards for accessories). They are not only compatible with the iPhone 5S but also other iOS devices with a Lightning port, including the iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPad Air and fifth generation iPod touch among others.
The MIXIT↑ Lightning to USB cables are now available at Belkin.com. They sell for between US$24.99 and US$29.99. They are expected to land in Apple stores in late June as well.
