Google posts Google I/O 2014 schedule

Google I/O 2014

Google I/O 2014 will take place on June 25 and 26, 2014. The registration lottery is closed and the lucky attendees have been notified (and billed). With just over a month to go now, Google has posted the complete schedule of events and code labs.

Everything kicks off with the Keynote on June 25 at 0900 PDT. It will likely be where Google announces new devices (if any but hopefully one more Nexus tablet at least) and updates to Android and other Google services. With rumours that the Google Nexus program is wrapping up and that we will not even see a Google Nexus 6, hopefully Google will announce what it has in mind for the future (Android Silver, anyone?).

Following that are two days of sessions that cover everything Google. Among these are the following:

  • What’s New in Android
  • Cast-Enable Your Application
  • Wearable Computing With Google
  • Android Wear: The Developer’s Perspective
  • Hack your Glass, Deep Dive

If you were not lucky enough to get tickets, Google will livestream the Keynote as well as many of the sessions.
