Press render of the All New HTC One leaked?

Rumoured HTC M8 in goldOnly a day after HTC sent out press invitations to a March 25 event where it will unveil its 2014 flagship smartphone, a press render of the device so far known as the HTC M8 has surfaced courtesy @evleaks. Expected to launch as the “All New HTC One,” the image effectively reconfirms a number of details that surfaced in the past few weeks thanks to a steady stream of rumours.

The press render, showing front, back and side, shows that the HTC M8’s looks are inspired by those of its predecessor, the HTC One. The front confirms that the sensors have moved to the right side next to the camera and that the capacitive buttons have made way for on-screen ones, even as the HTC logo stays prominently featured below the display. The front-facing BoomSound speakers introduced with the HTC One are once again onboard as well. We again get a look at the new Blinkfeed app, part of HTC Sense 6.0, and confirmation that Android 4.4 KitKat will be onboard.

Perhaps more importantly, the back image confirms the oft-rumoured  twin camera lenses with dual-LED flash. HTC is likely to use this feature to try to set its latest smartphone as the device to have for mobile photography.

The HTC M8 will be formally unveiled as the “All New HTC One” on March 25 at simultaneous events in New York City and London.
