Samsung Canada today announced that it has opened a second Samsung Experience Store. This new 1,900 square foot standalone retail location is at the Richmond Centre in Richmond, British Columbia and features Samsung’s line up of mobile, personal computing and consumer electronic products. .
“We are thrilled to be opening the doors to our Richmond Centre brand experience store as the next big step in our national retail strategy and just in time for Chinese New Year. Our approach to retail is to bring the innovation, design and performance of our broad portfolio of products to life while providing customers with a more connected shopping experience,” said James Politeski, President of Samsung Canada. “The success of our first standalone retail store in Burnaby, B.C. and strong support from local consumers has led us to expand our retail footprint in market, and nationally, and to continue delivering Canadians with products and solutions that make everyday life easier through integration.”
Aside from showcasing the latest Samsung products, the store will also feature a dedicated on-site mobile repair service centre and a product training centre.
Samsung will open a third Samsung Experience Store at the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta on February 13. By the end of 2014, it will also have an additional 90 Samsung Experience Shops located inside Best Buy and Future Shop stores across Canada.
Samsung opened its first Canadian retail store in 2012.
