It’s been a busy week for Samsung Canada. The company today announced two new colours for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Just days ago, it announced that its new Galaxy Tab 4 line of tablets is now available in Canada. First announced in early April, the Galaxy Tab 4 comes in three sizes: 10.1-, 8- and 7-inch.
Billed as being “ideal for the whole family,” the Galaxy Tab 4 tablets come with Multi-User and Kids Mode. The former allows each user to have their own profile while the latter gives “parents the confidence that children can experience the amazing features of the new devices in a fun, safe environment.”
“We’re excited for the launch of, the GALAXY Tab4 Series tablet which not only offers a brilliant blend of form and function, but also enhanced parental controls through Kids Mode,” said Paul Brannen, Senior VP, Enterprise and Mobile Solutions, Samsung Canada. “Combining the ultimate viewing experience with a set of features that enrich the overall tablet experience for all members of the family, the GALAXY Tab4 Series reaffirms Samsung’s commitment to providing a wide variety of devices that offer incredible style and performance.”
All three models come with 1.2GHz quad-core processors, Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat, WXGA (1280×800) displays and are available in either black or white.
The Galaxy Tab 4 series will be available at national retailers including Best Buy and Future Shop at the following prices:
- GALAXY Tab 4 7.0-inch: CA$219.99
- GALAXY Tab 4 8.0-inch: CA$279.99
- GALAXY Tab 4 10.1-inch: CA$379.99
