Samsung today is teasing everyone about what could take place at its Samsung Unpacked 2014 episode 1 press event. A new Unpacked5 image comes with nine new symbols, each with a superscript 5: Speed, Outdoor, Curiosity, Fun, Social, Style, Privacy, Fitness and Life.
The abundance of fives may well be a hint that Samsung will indeed unveil its Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone. The new icons may also hint at a redesigned TouchWiz interface with the icons themselves standing for updated or new Samsung apps.
We understand that there is lots of speculation regarding what will be unpacked in Barcelona. However, we at Samsung Tomorrow have to agree with what the 1922 Nobel Prize winning physicist, Niels Bohr, who laid the groundwork for atomic structure and quantum theory, once said,
“Prediction is very difficult, especially if it’s about the future.”
The Samsung Unpacked5 event is set for February 24, 2014 in Barcelona as part of MWC 2014. It will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend.
