Sony announces Xperia T3, world’s slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone

Sony Xperia T3It turns out that yesterday’s teaser was not for the successor to the Sony Xperia Z Ultra unless it is shrinking substantially. Sony today instead announced the Xperia T3, billed as the world’s smaller 5.3-inch smartphone. At only 7 millimeters thick, it may not be slimmest smartphone in the world but it is certainly among the slimmest. It also features a stainless steel frame with a matte backing, the same styling seen in other recent Sony smartphones.
