More photos of new Moto 360 smartwatch surface

Rumoured Moto 360 2015 smartwatchMotorola last week accidentally revealed the new Moto 360 smartwatch. If there were any doubts that Motorola will soon unveil this second-generation Moto 360, new pictures posted on Reddit should go a long way to alleviate them. The new pictures were snapped in the Chicago area and appear to show two Motorola employees wearing the new watches to and from work.

Unsurprisingly, the new pictures also show that the new Moto 360 will sport new lugs to which straps will attach as well as a crown positioned at the two o’clock position. They also reconfirm that the black bar or “flat tire” at the bottom of the display will make a return. Size-wise, it appears to be the same size as the current model but might be a few millimeters slimmer.

Recent rumours also hinted that Motorola would offer the new Moto 360 in two sizes. Both models are expected to come with Bluetooth LE and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. The smaller one will sport a 270mAh battery while the larger one will have a 275mAh one.

Two photos show a silver metal one but the third shows a gold version of the watch. Motorola will presumably offer a number of variants as it does now.

Another thread on Reddit offers up additional pictures of the Moto 360 case alone. These match up with all the other images. With the images, it adds that the lugs will accommodate 22mm watch straps and that the case has a diameter of 45.5 millimeters.
