Rumour: Android 4.0.5 headed to Galaxy Nexus in April?

Galaxy NexusSince Google established Android 4.0.3 as the new base version, it has been relatively quiet with further updates. That may be about to change with the release of Android 4.0.5 according to @black_man_x (aka Mobile Panda). The new version could be headed to the Galaxy Nexus as soon as “early April.”

The tweet adds that the update will fix an audio reboot issue and a “data falling asleep” issue.

It remains to be seen if the Android 4.0.5 update will be the one that finally sees most Nexus S devices upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich after an aborted start back in December. An update is rumoured to be only weeks away so Nexus S owners should keep their fingers crossed.
