Google Nexus 5 specifications revealed in leaked service manual?

Rumoured Google Nexus 5 illustrationThere have been a number of rumours about the specifications of the upcoming Google Nexus 5 already. We may have just gotten our most detailed look at them today courtesy of an alleged draft service manual obtained by AndroidPolice. The document is for the LG-D821, which had been thought to be a LG G2 variant, rather than the LG-D820.

The document weighs in at over 280 pages and AndroidPolice adds that “we have no reason to believe that this isn’t the real deal.” Along with specifications, it includes detailed schematics, troubleshooting instructions and more.

Rumoured Google Nexus 5

The manual obtained is a draft version and appears to contain some errors. For example, it lists the exact same dimensions as those of the Google Nexus 4 and lists Bluetooth 3.0 rather than the anticipated version 4.0. The manual also only lists a 32GB model but other storage variants, including a 16GB one, are also expected.

Google is expected to unveil the Google Nexus 5 along with Android 4.4 KitKat later this month. Recent rumours suggest an event at the end of the month rather than October 14 as previous rumours indicated.
