Google Nexus 5 in red now available from TELUS

Google Nexus 5 in red

Following in Videotron’s footsteps earlier this week, TELUS Mobility today launched the Google Nexus 5 in “Bright red.” Like Videotron, TELUS is only offering the 16GB version.

Specifications are the same as the black and white versions originally announced last October: 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat, LTE connectivity, a 4.95-inch Full HD (1080×1920/445PPI) Corning Glass 3 display, 2GB of RAM and an 8GB rear-facing camera with OIS.

TELUS is offering the red Nexus 5 for the same price as the black one: CA$0 with a two-year SharePlus Plan or CA$500 outright (more expensive than the CA$399.99 through Google Play).

WIND Mobile is also expected to carry the red Nexus 5 but it has not shown up on its website yet.

  1. Ohhhh. Google Nexus is sexy in red. That is one pretty Android device. I’m not really liking the new Galaxy.
