Google’s latest Android marketing campaign has focused on the vast device ecosystem available to users. With the tagline “Be together, not the same,” Google has been pushing the idea that Android can be exactly what you need it to be and still meet the widely different needs of other users out there. A new ad called “Android: Friends Furever” released this week uses cute animals to show that we can all be different and still get along. Much like we can all use different Android devices and still find common ground.
You don’t have to be a cute animal to show the world how to “Be Together. Not the Same.” But it definitely helps.
Whether the ad convinces people to run out and buy an Android phone remains to be seen but it should leave many of them with a warm and fuzzy feeling. After all, who can resist watching a cat and dog work together to make their getaway?
