As expected, Apple will hold its next press event on September 9, 2014. Apple’s invitation provides no clues as to what it plans to announce, saying only that they “Wish we could say more” (so do we!).
Rumours have consistently suggested that Apple will use the event to unveil the Apple iPhone 6. It is expected to come in two variants, one with a 4.7-inch display and another with a larger 5.5-inch one. Apple’s first wearable (the iWatch?) could also be unveiled at the event if a more recent rumour turns out to be accurate.
The event will take place at 1000 PDT (1300 EDT). Unlike recent years were such events took place at either the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco or the company’s own campus, this year’s event will take place at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino. Apple first used that venue more than 30 years ago to introduce the original Mac.
